No news in weight loss blogland generally means bad news. My absence is no different. I haven't been exercising consistently. I've been eating crap. I think EVERY DAY about getting back on the stick ... both with the healthy habits and the blogging. But then another day and another evening of mindless grazing coupled with internet browsing and crap TV viewing has passed me by. And, as much as I enjoy the garbage food and garbage activities, they're just not working for me any more. And I'm sure they're going to be working even LESS for me in another 10 or 20 years.
In addition to dusting off the blog, I:
re-upped with my therapist to deal more diligently with the whys of my overeating aka self-medicating.
have already put in 9000 steps today thanks to a LONG walk
had a salad for lunch.
The return to blogging (and I have popped in periodically on several of you ... dang ... we do share the same struggles, don't we??) and the above represent my putting my toe back in the waters of healthy living. I hope tomorrow has me wading in the waters rather than just tentatively testing them!

Cammy took the words right out of my mouth! It's good to see you, Sherre. Your days sound much like mine when I'm avoiding getting healthy. It's soooo easy to just sit and veg-out. If you can't jump in, just get your feet wet and you'll be in the deep end in no time :)
Oh yes! You have been missed. Climb back on the wagon.
I have been seeing a therapist as well. IT's best to get to the core of things.

We ALL go through times like yours. Just keep working at it and stay positive and if you keep up with blogging with certain people, it might keep you on track (I usually post once, maybe twice a week!

Yep, we all struggle, it's just about getting back on track and moving forward. I still find myself wallowing in a funk at times, such is life. So good to see a post from you. I look forward to hearing more from you.
