
I was in beautiful Lake Tahoe over the weekend. I took my bike along and enjoyed a ride along the above bike trail. Unfortunately, the hiatus from bicycling was felt big time by my thighs. Ouch. I didn't go very far, but I was reminded how much I enjoy bike riding. I've got to take the bike out more oftenso my thighs don't scream at me when I try a short ride. Any little incline caused me to stop, get off and push the bike for a while. Little kids on teeny bikes with training wheels could keep pedaling when I couldn't. My second day at Tahoe, I went for a walk. It's such a beautiful spot that I often wonder if I had similar views in the town where I live, would I want to be outside exercising more.

I'm enjoying biking, but I'd enjoy it more if I was in Lake Tahoe. :)
I figure pushing the bike up hills is still exercise, so good for you!
